- Abstract
The article focuses on the role of non-state actors in the international legal order. It examines the non-state actors within the U.S. government system. It relates that if any international constitutional structure exist, must be still in its most rudimentary form. It investigates the pattern that exist in other countries to develop understanding of how to interact and accommodate with non-state actors. The author mentions that U.S. is guided by its constitutionally shaped framework, which allows the federal government and each state the relationship with non-state and multi-individual actors. He notes that this constitutional structure also dictates the relationship of individuals with non-state actors.
