Title
Plants trick bees with caffeine-laced nectar.
Abstract
The article presents the results of a study conducted by researcher Margaret Couvillon and colleagues and published in the journal "Current Biology" about the caffeinated nectar in plants that causes honeybees to repeatedly visit their flowers. The researchers found that the caffeinated nectar can trigger honeybees to forage more and direct others to the caffeinated forage using a behavioural technique called waggle dance.
