- Title
Intensive care errors 'frequent'.
- Abstract
The article reports on the increase of medical errors in intensive care units, which was revealed in a study led by Andreas Valentin in Great Britain. The medical errors were observed in the administration of injected medications. Stress and tiredness of medical staff are the main factors for the mistakes. Professional organisations, pharmacists, the National Patient Safety Agency (NFSA), and the Department of Health are working together to reduce the problem.
