- Abstract
The article offers a thematic analysis on the works of Roberto Bolaño, a Chilean novelist and poet. It focuses on Roberto's last novel entitled "2666" which depicts the unsolved and ongoing serial murders of Santa Teresa. According to the author, basing his writing in the real crimes Roberto finds a rather unusual way of linking neoliberalism and patriarchy with sexual violence against subaltern women.
