Abstract
The article discusses the SCAMPER (substitute, combine, adapt, modify, minify, magnify put to another use, eliminate and elaborate, reverse or rearrange) creative-thinking strategy to enable Grades K-2 students to use items in different ways. Topics include the activity "What to Do With a Box" with idea recording on a poster paper T-chart, "Internet Resources on Vocabulary Acquisition and Use" as well as the brainstorming process.
