Title
EDITORIAL: Noises in the head.
Abstract
The author reflects on the significance of Sierra Nevada Corp.'s effort in developing acoustic nonlethal weapons in the U.S. He contends that the use of non lethal weapons is a difficult area due to health and safety criteria for limiting human exposure to electromagnetic radiation. He asserts that the Long Range Acoustic Device used as an acoustic disorientating weapon, has succeeded in the market because of its availability at a time when there was a demand for it.
