The author comments on the study "Inside the Administrative State: A Critical Look at the Practice of Presidential Control," by Liza Schultz Bressman and Michael Vandenbergh in a 2006 issue. While the study was based on the interviews of political appointees who served at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency during the George Bush and Bill Clinton administrations, she presents her critiques having been the Administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.
