- Abstract
The article discusses the study that determines the use of contraceptives in Empowered Action Group (EAG) and non-EAG states in India. Overview of the factors that motivate women to use contraceptive methods based on reproductive status, religious belief, and educational level in the country is discussed. The findings of the study show that literacy, work status, and families were positive factors in the use of terminal methods of contraception.
