- Abstract
The article presents research on the vertical distribution of phosphorus in agricultural drainage ditch soils affected by gleization and organic matter accumulation. The relations between horizonation and vertical distribution are analyzed. Details regarding the experimental conditions at the University of Maryland eastern Shore Research Farm in Princess Anne, Maryland are provided. Chemical compositions in various ditch soils of differentiated horizontal alignments are described, highlighting measurements of phosphorus, iron and aluminum concentrations.
