- Abstract
Aiming at the challenge of static voltage stability region(SVSR) construction of AC/DC system with hybrid multi-terminal high voltage direct current(Hybrid-MTDC), a predictor-corrector method to investi⁃ gate the SVSR boundary(SVSRB) of AC/DC system with Hybrid-MTDC is presented. Considering the con⁃ trol strategy switching characteristics of the multi-type converter stations and the control strategy cooperation among converter stations, a continuation power flow(CPF) model for the AC/DC system with Hybrid-MTDC is constructed to find the first critical point on the SVSRB. By using the obtained first critical point infor⁃ mation, according to the topological characteristics of SVSRB, the proposed predictor-corrector model is used to obtain the adjacent critical point in SVSRB of AC/DC system with Hybrid-MTDC rapidly and correctly, and then the SVSR of AC/DC system with Hybrid-MTDC is formed. The proposed method is analyzed and verified in IEEE 5-bus and IEEE 118-bus test systems with Hybrid-MTDC. The result shows that the proposed method can achieve the SVSR construction in AC/DC system with Hybrid-MTDC effectively and correctly.
