- Abstract
This article describes a longitudinal study conducted in a child care institution, with the aim of evaluating the profile and motor development of institutionalized children who receive physiotherapy care. Thirteen children with an average age of 3.97 years were included, with the majority being boys. Most of the children showed typical motor development, with only one child experiencing a delay in acquiring motor skills. Physiotherapy intervention was effective in improving the motor milestones of the children.
