- Abstract
The article presents three case studies with a true umbilical cord knot in the presence of a coexisting nuchal cord. It mentions that Color Doppler imaging and three-dimensional ultrasound have enabled prenatal diagnosis of nuchal cords and true knots of the umbilical cord. It cites a study which analyzed case of a singleton pregnancy complicated by a complex true knot and triple nuchal cord.
