- Abstract
The article focuses on the translocation of the whitebark pine or Pinus albicaulis. It states that planting of the whitebark pine seeds from seven populations at eight locations in species range boundary. It says that seed survival, germination and growth are influenced by seed mass, provenance temperature and site climate conditions. It also adds that the experiments provides preliminary test of species distribution models predicting suitable whitebark pine habitat.
