- Abstract
The article presents a study which aim to develop a novel approach for integrating environmental and genetic effects into a single universal response function (URF) in predicting the responses of tree populations to climate change. The study used a large lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) field transplant experiment which involved 62 sites with 140 populations planted. It reveals the efficiency of URF to increase the functionality and accuracy of climate change predictions.
