- Authors
Hanna, John
- Abstract
The article underscores the creative ability of Berthold Lubetkin on architecture. It states that Lubetkin went to Paris, France in 1925 to supervise the erection of Melnikov's Soviet pavilion at the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs. He also designed a USSR Trade Pavilion for France and submitted design proposals for the Urals Polytechnic. Moreover, it is posed that Lubetkin was fortunate having the Labor Council of Finsbury as patron when he was in London, England. It is also posed that Lubetkin gave up architecture in 1950 when he said that the Modern Movement had lost its momentum.
