The article discusses art history, particularly the creation of the Association of Art Historians (AAH) and the emergence of feminist interventions in Great Britain in 1974-1990. Also cited are the Courtauld Institute established by art collector Samuel Courtauld in 1932 to study art, the creation of History of Art departments in such universities as the University of Glasgow, and such female artists as Tina Keane, Pat Kahn, and Denise Cale.
