- Abstract
In 2013, WHO considered that word wide, the annual incidence of the tuberculosis is 9million cases, and prevalence of 14 million. The diagnosis of the tuberculosis at the child is difficult and it can be at the origin of a delay of care and one under estimation of the cases. This study was realized in the purpose is to analyze the epidemiological and diagnostics aspects of the tuberculosis at the child. It is about a multicenter study who took place from October 01 st, 2009 till June 01 st, 2011. The average age of the children was of 4,6 years, and the sex-ratio is 1,43. Sixty five comma fifty two percent (65, 52%) patients were inoculated in the BCG; 86, 21% arose from family at low socio-economic level; 55%suffered from malnutrition. Extralungs achievements are more frequent than the lung forms (62, 07% versus 37, 93%). IDR was positive at 85, 71% of the children; the sedimentation speed was increased at 88, 89% of them. The test of serology in the HIV was made at 27, 59% of the children, all were seronegative. The fight against the tuberculosis has to become intensified, through the combination of several strategies, such as the vaccination, the active screening, the adequate care of the cases, the improvement of the socioeconomic conditions of the populations and the research for a new more effective vaccine, news methods of diagnostic and antituberculosis drogs successful.
