An essay is presented related to Hinduism, particularly on the poetic effects of Rg Veda X.29.1. It explores the first verse's poetic techniques and effects on display as well as depicts that such poetic techniques are well known from Classical Sanskrit poetry, which include bitextuality, ambiguity of reference, and other types of punning.
