FMC's New Hydrogen Peroxide Plant In Texas Now Onstream.
- Abstract
The article reports on the commencement of FMC Corp.'s hydrogen peroxide plant operation in Bayport, Texas. The company's new plant is fully operational, thus making the facility the largest producer of oxidant in North America. According to William A. McMinn, vice-president and general manager of FMC, the facility furnishers an additional hydrogen peroxide production with a capacity of 60 million pounds a year, thus increasing its total capacity to over 160 million pounds. It is foretold that the demand for peroxide in the country will increase yearly.
