The article focuses on the investigation conducted by the House Committee on Un-American Activities (HUAC)on alleged communists in the animation industry in the U.S. It recalls that HUAC was trying to prove that there was a clandestine cell of brainwashed animators making communist propaganda. In relevance, HUAC star witnesses for the case was Eugene and Bernyce Polifka Fleury. The witnesses were asked about the activities of the communists in the animation industry and were questioned to mention well-known communist in the group.
