- Abstract
This article aims to bring the topics of ableism, difference, inclusion, and teachers' training to discussion. Ableism is understood as a means of discrimination that considers people with disability as inferior, uncapable of working, of producing, of loving, of desiring and of being desirable. We intent to call attention to the fact in the 21st century society there is the persistency of and attitude that classifies people under the normal-abnormal binary, which brings us to reproduce discriminatory actions, with or without intention, even in our routinely actions. Our methodology is qualitative, of phenomenological approach and we have utilized the exploratory study procedures. As an invitation to reflection, we make a brief introduction to care, under a Heideggerian perspective, as a possible approach teachers' training, opening possibilities to dialogue on and with inclusion within classrooms.
