- Abstract
The article analyzes the motion picture "Gran Torinio" directed by and starring Clint Eastwood. It examines themes such as aging, ethnic conflict, and urban violence in contemporary United States while also suggesting the film reflects Eastwood's own professional career. Particular attention is also given to how masculinity is portrayed in the film, especially as it is displayed in the final scene.
