- Abstract
The article presents a design procedure involving the concentration potentials of the demand and source streams of water-using systems with multiple contaminants. The basis of the procedure upon the overall allocation possibility of the source to demand streams is noted. The determination of the performing order of the processes based upon the processes' inlet concentration potentials is also mentioned, noting that the processes with the lowest inlet concentration potential are performed before processes with a higher inlet concentration potential, and the source with the largest quasi-allocation amount is used first in order to satisfy the inlet stream of the overall process.
