Eimeria species in young cattle in England and Wales.
Abstract
The article discusses a study which examines the prevalence of Eimeria species in young cattle in England and Wales. Over an average period of 5 months, 1253 fecal samples were collected from different farms. Twelve different species were identified, with Eimeria bovis and Eimeria zuernii the most prevalent. Infections were found to be common in younger calves.
