- Abstract
The article discusses the Supreme Court of Kentucky case Caneyville Volunteer Fire Department v. Green's Motorcycle Salvage Inc. which deals with the constitutionality of several statutes involving governmental immunity from lawsuits for firefighters and cities. The court determined that the state's firefighting immunity and city immunity statutes are constitutional. The legal doctrine of sovereign immunity in Kentucky is examined through the court case Divine v. Harvie.
