- Abstract
The article discusses the case of a 26-year-old female presented with fever and cough of one month's duration. Result of the patient's chest radiograph shows the presence of coarse miliary tubercles in both lungs and subcutaneous emphysema on the right side. The patient was diagnosed with miliary tuberculosis with pneumomediastinum and subcutaneous emphysema. It defines pneumomediastinum as the presence of air in the mediastinum.
