- Title
DENTAL CARIES IN RATS PRODUCED BY HARD PILOT BISCUIT.
- Authors
ROSEBURY, THEODOR
- Abstract
The article presents a study of the occurrence of dental caries in laboratory rats as a result of feeding on hard pilot biscuit. The physical and chemical resemblance between pilot biscuit and a coarsely ground raw cereal that has been shown to cause experimental dental caries in rats is mentioned. The resulting desire to determine whether pilot biscuit is capable of acting as a primary agent of dental caries in rats is also noted.
