- Title
Structural biology: The in vivo RNA structurome.
- Authors
Doerr, Allison
- Abstract
The article focuses on a research on the regulation of gene expression by the structure of RNA (ribonucleic acid). Topics include probing of RNA structure impact of cell physiology on RNA structure as explained by Philip Bevilacqua of Pennsylvania State University and use of dimethyl sulfate (DMS) methylation for the determination of RNA structure. It also discusses a study which determines the folding of plant RNA during abiotic stress.
