- Abstract
In this article the author discusses aspects of the European Union (EU) Classification, Labelling and Packaging (CLP) Regulation, which requires that all substances and mixtures be correctly classified and labelled in accordance with the CLP regulation by June 1, 2015. Topics include the time and costs involved in the transition to CLP, what manufacturers can do to ensure smooth a transition, and the impacts of the CLP on customers’ perception and purchase behaviour.
