- Abstract
The introduction of new educational regulations always leads to modifications of the curriculum that may affect several aspects of it and the whole teaching community. In this regard, the Organic Law 8/2013 (December 9th) for the Improvement of Educational Quality (LOMCE) has meant a major change in the evaluation by the incorporation of learning standards. The purpose of this thesis is to investigate various facets on the perception of teachers of primary education with respect to the learning standards. For this intend, a questionnaire validated by several experts has been used. The sample consists of thirty-eight teachers of primary education from four different state schools in Cartagena. After analysing the data obtained, the first element which needs to be mentioned is the great disparity of opinions influenced by aspects such as teaching education and work experience, and the agreement that the amount of standards should be reduced in order to improve their implementation.
