- Abstract
The article discusses the language development in bilingual children. Other topics include the factors affecting the environmental diversity among bilingual children, the basic operation of language learning, how monolingual newborn children can discriminate between their native languages and a language from another rhythmic class, and a study on the preference of children born to English-Tagalog bilingual mothers using the High Amplitude Sucking paradigm.
