Eroticism, Counterculture, and Juan García Ponce.

- Abstract
The article focuses on the eroticism and counterculture seen in the works of writer Juan García Ponce. By focusing on eroticism, writers like Ponce rejected not only the traditional moral code of their times but also the social and political values imposed on art by previous generations. By the mid-twentieth century, the Freudian concept of the domination of the principle of reality over the principle of pleasure, with the effects of repression and neuroses, had become common in Western culture.
