Symmetries of finite phased arrays are exploited to reduce the memory and run time required for their analysis with the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. Results are presented for a 2 x 2 array of wire dipoles and are compared with results calculated with the method of moments and the conventional FDTD method.
