- Abstract
The article presents research on the carbohydrate components of juice from Callisia fragrans wood. It says that polysaccharides were isolated by concentrating juice to a volume of 1.5 L and treat with hexane, CHCl3, and EtOAc, wherein the resulting solid was centrifuged and dried via the replacement of solvents to yield 45.11 g of cladonia furcata polysaccharide (CFP). The results suggest that free carbohydrates of Callisia fragrans consisted of galactose, glucose, and glucosamine.
