- Abstract
The article discusses the case of Prince de Conti in the restitution of property seized and sent to the Louvre Museum. It mentions that the properties of Prince de Conti were consist of paintings to which he gave up one of his works provided that he would be given a precious exchange. It cites the proclamation of the Senatus-Consulte in 1810 that established the need for an inventory of works wrongfully credited to the Louvre.
