- Authors
Martin, Harry
- Abstract
The article discusses the case of In Re: Wedgwood Museum Trust Limited (In Administration), which involves a collection of cultural artefacts originally owned by the Wedgwood trading company. The judge in the case ruled that the collection, which since the 1960s has been held by the Wedgwood Museum Trust Limited, can be sold to satisfy the bankrupt Wedgwood company's towering pension deficit. The author comments on how the case demonstrates the importance of how precious assets are held.
