- Abstract
Helping people understand their underlying health and helping them manage their behaviours and activity levels are important components of effective health improvement interventions. Occupational health teams should consider making wearables an area of active consideration for their health and well-being strategies, alongside other personal health technology provision, including apps. Wearables can have a direct impact in supporting improved health outcomes [6]. It is likely that in the future, more insurers and workplace health providers will use wearables (and the data they generate) as an integral part of such health improvement programmes.
