- Abstract
A stamp in the series on "Partners in Health Sciences" was issued on November 10, 1972 in Cincinnati, Ohio to commemorate the field of pharmacy and honors more than 100,000 pharmacists. The stamp is well balanced and colorfully printed in yellow, blue, orange, red, and black. It was adorned with the bowl of hygeia, a symbol adopted by the American Pharmaceutical Association, a mortar and pestle, a symbol adopted by the National Association of Retail Druggists, and two pharmaceutical bottles.
