- Abstract
The modern age is characterized by an extremely large and rapid increase in the importance of control in the production and use of products, as well as its impact on the productivity and income of manufacturing organizations. In this sense, the main goals in all processes should be to improve quality, increase productivity and reduce costs, and as a prerequisite for achieving, emphasizing and accepting the importance of quality. Such approach leads to the development of principles of quality improvement, but also awareness of the importance of quality and quality control, as well as methods of ensuring the quality of products and services. Considering the increasing competition in the global market, quality control is becoming an indispensable process in all institutions, one of the main factors influencing the raising of the rating, and thus securing a better position in the market worldwide and increasing productivity. Quality has become a first-rate factor in international exchange. This paper shows how, and by which methods, the quality of a product is monitored and analyzed on a practical example of a product called "Traversing 390" from the MING d.o.o. company from Nis. Quality control is organized into three segments at the MING smithy: Input quality control, Process quality control and Final quality control.
