- Abstract
The article presents an interview with sports dietitian Bronwen Lundy. He talks about advantages and disadvantages of food diaries for collecting data on the dietary intakes of professional Rugby League teams. On being asked about some of the factors that lead to under and over-reporting in food records, he said that players who reported lower energy intakes relative to their requirements tended to be the fatter. He stresses on the need for research in this area. He also discusses some of the dietary issues that were identified from his dietary study of the Rugby League players.
