- Abstract
The article presents the Case of N. v. The United Kingdom brought before The European Court of Human Rights having deliberated in private on September 26, 2007 and April 23, 2008. The application was lodged against the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland under Article 34 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms by a Ugandan national, Ms. N. The applicant was HIV positive and alleged that she would not have access to proper medical treatment if she were returned to Uganda. Details of the court's assessment and ruling are provided.
