- Abstract
A robust energy-efficient key for Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) transmissions is described in cognitive vehicular networks. An optimal MIMO beam forming is designed for Secondary Users (SUs) by considering defective interference Channel State Information (CSI). Specifically, Energy Efficiency (EE) of SUs gets optimized by using the transmission power constraint; therefore the robust interference power constraint and the minimum transmission rate are satisfied. The uncertainty of state information derived by bounding it in a Frobenius-norm-based region and then consistently transfer the robust interference constraint to a linear matrix variation which is categorized by solving the optimization crisis; besides, a sufficient gradient direction approach is proposed to reduce the optimization crisis into a linear chronological constraint semi-definite program, which leads to a disseminated iterative optimization algorithm for deriving the robust and optimal beam-forming.
