- Abstract
This paper sums up in general traits the process of initial research made by Envigado University Institution, with the support of Envigado Municipality, leading to diagnosing, proposing, and designing an undergraduate program in the training of teachers associated to the Social Sciences Faculty. At the same time, the paper provides the elements of discussion pertaining to the analysis that must be carried out in the offering of an educational proposal for teachers in our specific context and under the present political, social and cultural conditions.
