- Abstract
In this article the author discusses the Alfano Decree, created by Italy Prime Minister of Justice Angelino Alfano. She says that the bill is commendable in disciplining bloggers who take advantage of the anonymity provided by the Internet. She emphasizes that it jeopardizes the status of the country as a democracy as it threatens the plurality of ideas and opinions. She stresses that the Italian Senate should deny the bill as its consequences on Human Right's objectives are too great.
