The article discusses critical legal research strategies as a potential element in the development of law reforms in the Appalachian Region of the U.S. as of 2015, and it mentions various online legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis, as well as the possible utilization of commercial and non-commercial legal resources. Innovation management and mountaintop removal mining laws are examined, as well as algorithms,the U.S. legal publishing industry, and free Internet searching.
