The article presents a literary criticism of the poem "Frost at Midnight," by Samuel Taylor Coleridge, examining the author's thematic focus on anticipation and the uncertainty of future events. The poetics of time as used in the piece are discussed in-depth, along with consideration of its prevalence as a dominant theme in many of Coleridge's works.
