- Abstract
The article studies the will of John Mower, who was a perpetual vicar to the church of Saint Mildred in Tenterden, to reassess his career history. It discusses citation of Mower's will in various registers such as by A. B. Emden in his "Biographical Register of the University of Oxford to A.D. 1500" and transcription of the will by Josephine W. Bennett and William Waynflete (c.1400–1486), Bishop of Winchester, England.
