The article discusses several issues involving the prosecution of employment claims in bankruptcy proceedings in the U.S., and it mentions Chapters 11 and 13 of America's Bankruptcy Code, as well as an automatic stay legal principle and a question about who has legal standing to prosecute an employment claim. A judicial estoppel legal doctrine is examined, along with penalties for debtors for failing to disclose employment claims. Bankruptcy estate settlements are assessed.
