The author reflects on the U.S. health care reform. He refers that the health care community particularly the physician's are skeptical towards the reform. He notes that most of the health economists believe that the cost of medical services are inflexible. The author mentions that the overall spending for health care is increasing for years compared to the growth of the gross domestic product (GDP).
