- Abstract
An essay is presented which discusses the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in western Canada from the late 19th century through the 1960s. An overview of the influence of Ukrainian national and religious identity on the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Canada is provided. The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church's relations with other church denominations, including the Anglican Church of Canada, the Latin-rite French Catholic Church and the Russian Orthodox Church, are discussed.
